Hi everyone! Finally was able to make a big push in development and finished up this patch. The List is short but the features added (and tweaked) are fairly major so the update should help alleviate the time between this patch and v1.2.3 (a.k.a. the one where all hell breaks loose). Here's the changelog:
In-game keybinds can now be customized in the settings! Literally everything in the gameplay can be customized now so get creative!
The BGM Selection menu can also be found in the settings! Customize what ambience music plays in the nights for each individual track! Note that this will not Overwrite the preset BGM's that are selected by default.
GamejoltAPI support has been removed. See the previous post for details on that whole fiasco.
The only "balance" change for Perfect Mode: increased the audio of Afton's voice lines. Should make it easier to hear him since not hearing him can essentially make him nearly unreactable.
Added SFX in Perfect Mode for a failed shock and also for when your doors overheat so it's more clear in a chaotic night if something has failed.
That's everything for now! Now that I got some extra time On my hands once more, proper work on PERFECT CACOPHONY is under way. I doubt I'll have to do many monthly progress updates, but just in case the option is there.
I've toyed with the idea of working on both PC and FNAF 2 SCN simultaneously, but both projects are fairly ambitious and I would prefer to Keep things simple and not overcomplicate everything. I would rather have FNAF 2 SCN come out afterwards anyway since I would like for that game to have its time in the spotlight.
Anyways, back into the shadows I go. Maybe next time I will come out with something truly special. It's gonna be so much fun. :D
