One of my followers suggested I implement a "highlight" icon that emphasizes a selected stage, making it stand out from the rest of the roster when hovering over it. Well, that would come in handy once the stage icons get smaller, so I just implemented it! Not so bad! I will also carry this over to the Fighter Select screen.
Speaking of the Fighter Select screen. I'm working it out so that Feud can detect how many controllers are plugged in and spawns as many hand cursors to pick fighters. I'm struggling a bit right now with this, because I can't seem to figure out the way to distinguish which controller the input comes from. Like, if I have 2 controllers, which one will be Player 1 and Player 2. I'll need to do more research on controller stuff.
For the Rules menu, I'm debating whether or not I want to use the ablility to save rulesets like in Ultimate.
For other things, I've been referring to screenshots of official Smash game menus/modes/etc. It's interesting all the stuff that's in these games, huh?
On the side, I'm also brainstorming ideas on modes and minigames to either bring back or develop/create.
It's not a very big update today, but still!
