v0.6.5 has finally been released! This patch features Act 8, thus completing the first half of the game. It also adds a few more things, as well as improving the game in several ways.
Note: The Autobattle option will be disabled on old saves. This is because I’m slowly implementing a NG+ option (which won’t be available until v1.1 or so). To regain the Autobattle, simply start a new save.
Act 8 (and, thus, the first half of the game) can be completed.
New sidequests.
Euthanize Pepe.
Save Grimie and his band, Smudge Siblin’.
Changed the price of many weapons and armor to be lower.
Many random things have been fixed and improved.
Did a massive rename + reicon of skills and menus.
All battlebacks have been made to be smaller in file size. There are some minor differences, but nothing too noticeable.
Improved the battle bios.
Some boss fights have been toned down in the early game (most notably the Skyfoogle and the Vaktovian Prototype).
Several allies have been improved to be more useful.
Link and Cocky Dick have higher magic defenses.
RJ has obtained a large boost to Luck and a smaller boost to Magic Defense. He also has a few of Charles Barkley’s skills, obtained at later levels.
Michael Rosen has a higher defense.
Barkley has been given more speed. He is a basketball player, after all.
To compensate, the speed of both Adeleine and Jergins have been reduced. They were originally somehow faster than Sonic.
The Time Warrior has a new portrait.
Go get it.
