v1.12.9 - Failed to plan, or planned to fail?

Potential event movement error in Yin's quest...Ruby transformed approaching from above...and Jaune's transforms were completely borked...

Almost forgot to remove a debug event that y'all woulda loved...


Models:
-Photoshop is no longer giving “not enough memory” errors, so hair color adjustment from 5/6 to down to 2/3 has been completed for the newer models (not gonna promise I got them all).
-Incorrect speaker face appeared once during Jaune’s Adult/Female/Olivia transformation startup event.

Weapons:
-“Harvest Moon” changed back to “Harvest Moonlight”.
—Same with signature skill.
-“Gugnir” is now “Gugnir II”
-“Feather Blade” now has “Sweep+” instead of “Sweep” (2x damage at same energy use).
-“Feather Blade” now has “Feather Cleave” instead of “Cleave” (same damage formula and energy use, but undodgable).

Nerf:
-Damage multipliers of all bike skills reduced by 50%.
—Evasion bonuses from “Burnout” and “Dust Bowl” raised by 10%.
-“Feather Blade” skill is now a single hit instead of 4 (animation too long).
—Damage multiplier doubled to compensate (resulting in half total damage output).

Bugs:
-Deeda’s recruitment event was still sensing the switch that unlocks the bad guys dungeon instead of the switch from making it easier (both get turned off when changing main, but an auto-sense event will turn the dungeon back on outside in Vale).
-Yin’s quest…
—Startup common event did NOT use the “clear party” common event that I’ve kept updated…Jaune’s transformation actors, Yang’s evil twin, and the new mercs would not be removed from party when starting the event…causing events to run improperly with Jaune’s alter versions, though only visual glitches (and unintentionally allowing you extra party members) with the others.
—Activating the “crash landing” event from above it on Ruby’s transformations would cause lock up when events attempt a move they are unable to complete due to the wall of the barn being solid.
—Startup event now does call for the “clear party” event, all “crash landing” events have been moved to ensure space for events to maneuver, and transformed Ruby and Jaune events have been changed to remove the move.
—Yin’s special bike now cancels surprise attacks rather than half encounter rate (could go several large maps without a single encounter…).
—Yin’s pacifist enhancers now have a more severe agility penalty (matching the penalty to other attack stats.
—Yin’s 1st phase now seals attacking with her bike.
—Yin’s 2nd phase is now limited to attacking 1 target at a time with her bike.
—Up through her decision…Yin’s tech, skill, and character slots will now be locked…and she’ll have access to a new skill to flee battles.
-Jaune Transformation event…one of the card sets (+0,+0,+Tai,+Qrow)…is improperly labeled…Tai and Qrow were reversed.

Typos:
-Good guys F5 still referencing “Maiden-in-Waiting” going in the ammo slot.
-Treasure hunt board in Menagerie…”sight” should have been “site”…
-Alice recruitment event mentioning the wrong mental disorder (which was also spelled wrong).
-Missing “r” in Ilia’s quest log entry.
-Missing word (do) near the end of Ruby’s male transformation events at the Beacon CCT.

Player contribution boards:
-“era” removed from both boards as both locations are active.
-New contributor on tfgames.site board (W33b33…a non-fan of RWBY O.o)

“War Games”:
-Content was planned a long time ago as a training exercise (/professional challenge) between the Atlas Special Forces and the “Agents of Chaos” mercenary company (you can still find this setup info on the screen in the back of the Beacon sparring room).
-Groundwork laid in to change this to a chronicle of the great war some 100ish years before RWBY (referenced in an episode or 2 and a World of Remnant), following one of the great heros from the war.
-I feel like I can get away with whatever I want in that time for a few reasons:
—History is written by the victors
—Historical texts can be edited to create false slant (while still being technically true)
—Time blurs the details of events (rather quickly, might I add)
—People will believe what they want to believe, regardless of the facts
-I would rather make it a separate game…but it would be a story game like Team SARA…and considering how well that never went…more people are likely to view it as a side event here (if I’m wrong, tell me quickly before I’m neck deep in it).

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!
