Version 1.0.0

The development of Heavy Ricochet is now back in order and HR Alpha is now finally over! All highscores have been reset for the full release of HR and the following people should be credited for finding bugs, getting great highscores, and more:

  • Thank you to Omnipotent Potato!

  • Thank you to thiaguera!

  • Thank you to ambaptisa!

  • Thank you to everyone who played through the Alpha of Heavy Ricochet!

Changelog:

  • Score multiplier that increases by 1 every hit and resets upon ricochet

  • Added a loading icon and progress bar (though loading takes almost no time!)

  • Removed the highscore text (will be added soon)

  • Bullet speed increases slower as the game is slightly easier

  • ‘Cubes’ are now ‘Balloons’, and ‘Kills’ is now ‘Score’ (this was done to make the game a little more friendly)

  • Helium Bosses (originally Cube Bosses) come every 3 waves instead of 4

  • Changed all in-game font to Candara (from Calibri)

  • Changed the title screen instructions: Use the mouse to point at the angle you want the bullet to travel. Use the bullet to pop as many balloons as possible. All health gone = game over!

  • Removed the website link under the author text in the title screen (“Created by Jamal Williams”), now showing “(website available soon)”

  • Slightly repositioned title menu objects, though hardly noticable

  • Fixed Twitter widget (?)

  • Increased the size of the version text in the title screen to 16pt for easier seeing

  • The screen now zooms in a more stable manner

  • Bullet movement and particles are now more stable
