Version 1.22 - Another 2 Game Modes!


So I really wasn't done huh. Random inspiration, go!!!

The two Modes in question are Nuzlocke and Adventure 2 (so creative ).

Nuzlocke is as you would expect— party members can't revive after dying. It will follow Full Party's rules where you start with everyone, and everyone can have any attack.

Adventure v2, is Adventure Mode, but with one key difference. The game is no longer forced into giving you only a single enemy type at once. I had to rewrite how the enemy spawn and stat distribution system worked, because if you had more than one enemy type active, one would always overwrite the rest (which is why they were always separated). Now that's not an issue! Standard enemies, challengers, and bosses can now all co-exist.

@peanut_fcfb brought up Adventure v2's idea a while back, and I thought of it since I wanted a 4th mode that was different enough from the original two. I'm up to change the name, but it's hard to describe it in one word.
(Speaking of name changes, "Fixed Party" mode is named Full Party now.)

There's also technically a new third mode, but it's not selectable on file select, rather in the character selection screen. If you are in either Adventure mode, you can hover your mouse in the top-right, and you can enter Limited Party Creation, which removes the requirement of having a party of 8. As long as there is 1 party member selected, you can play! Idea suggested by @Jaws2807

While still on the topic of Modes, I added descriptions on the Character Select Screen for a new game, where you can click a flashing question mark to get a more in-depth explanation about the mode you are playing.

Moving on to more of the minor things, I'll revert back to the typical changelog-fashioned devlog.

Bug Fixes

-changed fredbear’s dialogue from saying “recolor” to “reskins” when referring to the guardians

-fixed the fishing plunger "plop" noise making the catch sound when it hit the bottom (v1.21 issue)

-fixed the game asking you to delete your save data when you have no save data (lol)

-fixed Withered Chica's character having Endo Army instead of Prize Ball 2. This was a bug since FOREVER

Gameplay

-Certain challengers can use two special attacks if it's within their move set. (Ex. Shadow Freddy utilizes both Unscrew and Esc Key instead of just Unscrew)

-Added "M" keybind to cause all the enemies to spawn the Mini-Rainbows. This will be in effect as long as the game is open and isn't reset. Hitting M again turns it off. Requested by @RoboAsa

-The Mini-Rainbows are vulnerable to more attacks, including mic toss, the bites, hook, eye beam, bash jam, poppers, and the lightning from rainy day 2.

-The Rainbow can now be stunned with Jumpscare, for however short its duration is

Sounds

-added Oh How the Turners Have Tabled and Down the Drain It Goes soundtracks to Adventure v2.

-removed the second and third soundtracks to the Underground glitch levels

-shorted TWRE's area theme

-added Music and Sound Effect volume toggles to the options in file select

Visual changes

-made loading screens 1 second longer due to how fast they are

-added alternate virtua freddy loading screen where he’s called the mimic

-game now transitions directly to the overworld after a game over

-Cheese Changes: enemy hot cheese lands lower, and your hot cheese overlaps purplegeist once he's flattened

-Speaking of Flatgeist, Animdude's battle background no longer hides him

-Clock minigame's objects now change to random angles, and the number codes change position

The changes that were in v1.21:

-fixed fredbear's dialogue boxes being empty (v1.2 broke him)

-Main volume setting added

-Game now saves if you beat scott and chipper (for a hidden mechanic, unrelated to the trophies)

-NPC dialogue now doesn't restart the overworld music (introduced plunger sfx bug)

-Challenger regen was removed (also inadvertently fixed the fast regen oversight in v1.2). They got a small HP boost to compensate
