I usually don’t use anti-virus software because they annoy me more than actual viruses but I needed to install a few today when I got a report that Remnith was being detected as a virus.

Luckily it seems like a false positive caused by Remnith.exe. Unfortunately I can’t find a way to get past this at the moment. If you want to launch the game just add an exception to your anti-virus for Remnith.exe and it should run. I’ll make an updated post if I find out anything new about the problem. This is the site I used in the image to check the exe if you want to be safe and check yourself.

Update:
I sent the file to Avast and Avg to get whitelisted, now I just need to wait for a response. I may need contact some other popular anti-virus companies as well.
