Hah, were you expecting a devlog on Halloween? Well... here you go, I guess? It's probably still Halloween for some people out there, depending on your timezone. Does it really matter, though? The sprite interpretation below is also by Corthon.

This devlog should be somewhat shorter than usual, but it could very much indicate how close we are to completion. But before I get into that...

If you haven't seen it already, I made a YouTube channel for the mod! While it'll mainly center around the soundtrack, I'll throw in some other goodies for fun! Make sure to subscribe!!

So, How's Progress?

Almost all of the pixel art for the characters are done! We just need to make two more pairs of directionals and a few miscellaneous sprites.

Of course, this will change depending on where the script's direction goes (which shouldn't be likely). Speaking of the script..!

Censorship will be coming to Vs. Susie's Expansion Pack! Your parents can now watch you play our mod in the future without grounding you. I think.

...But What About [X]?

In regard to the other areas of work (like coding), there isn't that much to write home about, but there are SOME things to be excited for!

We've gotten a few assets for the non-pixel art out of the way, and we're also currently working on one of the cutscenes for the main story. There's a lot we need to do before I start talking about these more. Here's a taste of what's to come:

Conclusion

Honestly? It feels great to be making this much progress, and I'll do my best to update you guys on where we're at more. My idea is to release a devlog on select holidays (so you don't have to face months without any updates). I really feel like we can complete this mod someday! :)
