Five Nights at Wario's: Farmyard Fright

Wario, aka, "The Sheriff"

Wario Scapelli grew up in a rural little town in the Mushroom Kingdom with a brother named Waluigi, their mother Helga Scapelli and their father, known as Andrew "Spike" Scapelli. Together, they ran the locally known Scapelli Family Farm. Their produce and deli product were either sold in-house or shipped to local grocery stores. When Spike and Helga got too old to run the business, they passed it down to Wario. Waluigi was made the co-owner, which he was a little peeved at. Wario frequently worked with shipping seeds to the farm, along with the business side of it. Together, they ran the farm for a couple years until Wario hatched a genius plan while scribbling in his journal in the study: "What if we started a diner?" After a back and forth with Waluigi, he unveiled a secret to him which ultimately convinced him, and "Café von Wario", also known as "Wario's Diner", "Wario's Café", or simply "Wario's" was born.

The business was very successful for its unique setup. The restaurant was not only a place to eat, but Wario and Waluigi also did live comedy shows there occasionally. Sometimes it'd be standup, other times improv, and so on. They would even invite people in the crowd on stage! On weekends, they had open-mic nights where people from the audience could come up and do... basically whatever they wanted. It wasn't just the comedy that made it successful, but it was Wario's famous burger. Made with fresh ingredients straight from the Scapelli Farm, it made for an umami taste combined with a slight sweetness to give it an incredible flavor. With this, Wario and Waluigi became two of the most successful businessmen in the Mushroom Kingdom.

After almost 15 years of service, the brothers felt they had made a big enough profit to where they made the big decision to close the diner's doors. The farm, however, stayed open through it. The farm wasn't just a business to Wario, it was a passion. It was his father's biggest achievement. The diner was just a step in Wario's biggest dream: opening a Fast Food Factory. Luckily, there was an old plot of land fairly close to his farm that's been unclaimed for as long as he could remember. They quickly bought it in late 2002, and construction began on Wario's Fast Food Factory.
