So we've been working on this project for a few years now, and everyone else on the team and I have started to lose interest in it more and more. I tried rebooting with some fresh ideas to keep this project alive, but all it did was make me more distant. I've lost all motivation for the project it's too big for me to handle, and I just don't need that extra stress in my life. I tried keeping the project going despite all of that for you all by forcing myself to do something that makes me unhappy, and that's toxic to do to myself. I'm sorry to all who were looking forward to this or the old Shifted Reality. It's just isn't working.
I'll still be working on other projects, like my sister project Genocides End, which I'm way more passionate about due to it being a much smaller scope project and the first project I'm truly proud of. You should follow it. The coding process just started for the demo of it and it'll be out later this year.

I'll be archiving this game page now. But hey, before I go and never say anything more about this project, I'll share some information about it and art that is now scrapped.

After the reboot, I focused on turning the project into a post-pacifist route game of the original Undertale. I replaced Frisk with an original protagonist named Rin, a human from a different universe who had fallen into our own with no recollection of their old memories. I kind of took inspiration from Pokémon with this one, with characters like Ingo or Looker.
They'd be given shelter by Napstablook, who would play a protective guardian figure for Rin. Over the years, Rin would make two amazing friends named Mabel and Brett, who all go to the same college together. One day, some strange, mysterious human opened up a dark fountain, and the trio would follow behind. They'd meet the fourth main protagonist named Lumina, who would have been the Ralsei of the group. They'd eventually leave the area to report this to the town's police force. They wouldn't believe it, so the trio would end up trying to save the world themselves. But once they tried leaving the town to save the world, the mayor, Papyrus, would stop them and convince them not to leave the town because of how dangerous it is out there right now. The trio would fight Papyrus, Papyrus would fail, they'd leave the town, and then they'd go on to save the world. This is most of what I had planned for the first chapter before the cancellation of this project.
In future chapters, there would have been a lot of old things from before the reboot that would have still been a thing, like the Ruffians or the Glyders (which would have actually been bees now), or some story arcs that I don't think I shared in the past. Some of the dark worlds would have been based on old areas pre-reboot, like Mirrored Caverns or Scorched Plains. The first dark world we had planned would have taken place in a forest where everything would be super big, and you'd be the size of an ant traversing it. This is where the Glyders would be. We had planned that the main villain of the chapter would have been a greedy bee queen who has a very "I'm better than anyone else" personality. The secret boss would have been a powerful golem creature that would be insanely big. The fight would involve you trying to get to the top of him and hit his weak spot, similar to something in the game Shadow Of The Colossus. Now I'll be showing some of the art we had for it.

Also had some town sketches, but they looked very bad, lol! I won't be sharing those.
Anyway, that's all I have to share. We didn't get much done after the reboot. Like I said, it just made me more distant.
