Randomly during January we got the trailer for into the pit leaked and it BLEW UP!!! And everyone started speculating. And yes that does include me! I literally posted 4 times that day and bear in mind this was a school day and I just happened to be sick 💀.
In the aforementioned trailer we saw a gorgeous pixel art style and as soon as the shock of all of this wore off are minds collectively jumped to thinking ‘wait a minute! We’ve never seen this art style in fnaf before, so who is it by?’ Well we all speculated until the studio into the pit would be made by was revealed to be none other than mega cat studio.
We then had a period of relative inactivity with a few screenshots here and there but nothing to notable until a steam page for the game was released which gave us a description of the game which put it in the class of a survival game which is quite normal for a FNAF game as you usually survive five nights but it also calls it a puzzle game which is interesting given the fact this a FNAF game not poppy playtime but this game is a massive step forward for FNAF
In this steam page we also got another official trailer for the game which showed off a lot of interesting gameplay but mainly we saw how gory this game will get with us literally seeing the missing children’s corpses and then we b**ch slap pit Bonnie with a chair. And with all this said it was easy to see how it got an age rating of 16! Once again a massive step forward for FNAF.
And lastly a couple of days ago Scott games revealed to us a list of what would happen when for FNAF’s 10th anniversary and as you can probably guess into the pit was included in this list and this gave us its release date of the 8th of August the exact date of FNAF’s 10th anniversary!
So as we only have 47 days until its release I doubt there will be anymore bombshells dropped about it but even so this has been one hell of a build up for one hell of a game see you guys tomorrow 😉
