WEEK 1 NOTES

Hi All, I've been a bit busy this week with the development. Here's all i've done so far:

  • Added particles to when the ammo lands on the enemy, when the player is healed, when the player gets a shield and when the enemy dies.

  • Created 2 of the 16 buildings for level 2 and added night lighting

  • Re-did the enemy look so it looks more smooth

  • Added a death animation for the enemy character (it looks a bit wonky so I'd have to re-do it)

  • Received the music for the title screen, Level 1 and 2, and the tutorial level.

I'll have more news next week plus a video containing all the development I've done so far!

Thanks guys!

- Alex

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I made a small jungle house.

It's now possible to destroy some of the obstacles and gain access to new locations or create shortcuts. #gamedev #indiegame #rpg
