(art by tejma on deviantart) (james pov) i aproach the pokemon in the grass and it was meowth? i looked it up and moewth's only appear on route 2 i guess this one's special so i decided that i would catch it peacfully i walk up to it and give it a berry from my bag it instantly climmed up onto my left shoulder without clawing me or my clothes and well it let me catch it (2 hours later of more training) so its like 2 am now im tired as crap so i just fall sleep on a bench in the city village i dont know what to call it island yea island guess what i get woken up loudly by kukui's dog rockruff barking at me the dog stops barking and kakui explain's that the kahuna wants to meet me at a festival and see me 1v1 lilli and whoever the heck hop is and if i beat them both ill get to 1v1 the kahuna sweet im gonna loose i dont have a type advantage against lilli at all and hop i dont even know them at all (2 hours later) alright i get on the festival stage and hop is my first 1v1 and he throw's out a popplio i throw out rowlet now knowing i have a type advantage their popplio use's icy wind but rowlet somehow dodges i heard icy wind almost allways hit's i guess that's where the almost come's in and i tell rowlet to use razor leaf and one shot's hau's popplio (alright for this next part we're gonna say everyone's pokemon has a little level boost so that this'll make since) hau sends out a pikachu i switch out rowlet for meowth because rowlet is weak to electric and i feel my meowth can take it but hau's pikachu use's quick attack but meowth attacks without direction's and uses scratch a lot of people are in shock from the auto attack but pikachu fire's back with a electro ball meowth take's the shot they got shocked a little but they ultamatly tank it meowth uses bite and knock's it out making me win the fight (20 minute's later) now im going up against lilli and her now torracat i already knew it was over neither of my 2 can take that on at all bassicaly lilli then ask to have a 2v2 pokemon fight so i nervosly throw out my 2 pokemon rowlet instantly wakes up realising this is gonna take some trying to win then she throw's out her second pokemon trumbeak i then realise both of her pokemon are evolved while my rowlet hasnt even scrached evolution and meowth i found him with a everstone so i guess its rowlet's now or never immediatly lilli's trumbeak goe's for pluck on rowlet rowlet dodges though meowth uses bite on trumbeak torracat use's ember hitting rowlet for the first time ever rowlet got shot out of the sky but once they hit the ground they got back up now flashing white that's it rowlet is evolving into dartrix. dartrix fly's at torracat tackling it but then meowth suddenly look's at dartix and dartix look's back at meowth they just made a plan to beat them meowth goes in and disstracts both of them at once while dartrix stay's back creating a sword made out of as strong of grass as they could musster up. dartrix gets done with the sword and throw's the rapier to meowth. meowth then starts using the rapier like puss in boots its like they already knew how to use the sword they are using the rapier to block every attack and get a couple swipes in with it torracat tries to burn the sword with ember but the sword just cuts the ember in half making it clear we have won this fight then out of nowher trumbeak tries to peck meowth but get stopped by dartix's confuse ray and the trumbeak knocks itself out. then meowth tag team the torracat with razor leaf's and rapier attacks eventually winning the battle. the kahuna says in the crowd that he doesnt even need to poke battle me he know's he will lose and then he started laughing (2 hours later) me and my team are now exploring verdant cavern for this island trail and all of a sudden my team gets ambushed by 3 raticate's they were fairly easily tooken care of though with a couple razor leaf's and rapier moves and they went as fast as they got here and i just got my normalium z but while im getting ready to leave and go to route 3 and 4 a noibat came up to me and i gave it a berry and like that it was bassicaly aasking to join my team so i captured the noibat in a pokeball and we set off to route 4 with our new teammate watch out paniola were coming fast and on the way there we trained a bit and then we called it a day and fell asleep and i woke up getting a call from team rocket they are checking in on me i tell our boss everything that's happened so far and giovani seemed to like how things were going
