If I were to add achievements, there would be a lot of "just go through the game" achievements, but also some "backtrack and find easter eggs" and a few would unlock cosmetics.
Also, the achievements would be vaguely mentioned in the storyline. Far from important, but referenced briefly in that fourth-wall way that UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE does.

Still working on my Earthbound playthrough, paused it to play through Pokemon Legends: Arceus. That said, still very much liking Earthbound and finding inspiration in it. You know what would be cute? If UNRELATED!Sans had a jammies sprite like Ness does.
