When the polls end, what happens next?

I apologize for not getting this small update out sooner. I was a bit distracted with other things.

The good news is that I’m done with the polls (for now), so all that’s left for me to do on is finish up the current build of the game (which I’ll probably end up referring to as the “reset build” due to almost everything being rebuilt from scratch).

The current focus is still on the battle system, which right now I’m working on player deaths and their impact on party switching. In order to test out some of the functions I’ll be putting into it, I might also have to add in the Auto: Giftboxes chip to this build as well!

After that, it’ll just be finishing up the overworld, putting in a promised minigame, finishing the party select screen’s character display, finishing the title screen/main menu, and then it’ll be set for release! I’ll post a proper release date when I’m at that point of development.

I’d like to thank you all for putting up with my poll spam earlier and hope the upcoming build will be worth the wait!

‘Till next time!

Next up

Turns out what the game actually needed was for me to take a proper break from development and enough time to realize what I had broken.

(It was the values tied to IDing what foe it'd be.)

It'll likely need more testing, but we're back in buisiness!

That time of year again.

New look, new direction.

Suppose it's rude to come back doing polls without showing some sort of progress for it.

It's been a long time coming...

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Save file stuff (sidequests, maps and "autosaving") might currently be a troublesome mess, but at least development on OCN is going pretty smooth.

Still have to address a few tweaks to layering and test some other sidequests, but I think that we're back on track again.

How about we change things up?

Still deciding if it's worth committing to a full rebuild, but I at least figured out a better way to handle the party swapping mechanic.
