Me and Toonredmaio64 we're talking about this awhile ago and he said that he thinks fnf Mods are starting to get bland. So that's what motivated me to make this rant.

⚠️ Disclaimer: I know there are still good modern Fnf Mods, but they don't get nearly as much attention as the bad ones do. And this is just my personal opinion, feel free to disagree or agree⚠️

Ugh, I'd hate to rant about fnf Mods again, but I really need to get this off my chest. Modern Fnf Mods are not as good as people make them out to be. I mean, fnf hasn't been around for that long and I feel they are already going downhill like, the only type of mods that get recognition, are the ones based off of already established franchises (not all of them are bad) mainly the Pibby ones(we'll get into that crap soon though)

But it makes me wonder, what happened to the mods with original characters? Those ones used to be the most popular mods in the community! And now they're mostly forgotten or ignored. When mid fight masses got it's first anniversary, no one cared! However, the only original character that is still relevant is sky

But anyone outside of that, people only pay attention to the mods that have little to no effort put into them and are based off trends and already established franchises looking at you squid game mod

Now let's get started on this trend-chasing crap shall we?

And why aren't the playstation among us rejects doing they're job? Why are they wasting they're time singing??(idk I haven't watched the show and I don't think I'm interested)

And why are they in the middle of nowhere??? I think it appears they are in a farm or some crap? Idk I guess I might be nitpicking.

And don't get me started on people praising this like it's the best thing since sliced bread.

First of all, why are there fnf YouTube kids videos? I mean this game is CLEARLY made for 13+ due to a variety of reasons. And why does this crap get into my recommend? I never thought that elsagate would ever return. I thought YouTube dealt with that crap ages ago! And now it's returning?

Anyways back on track

Ugh, I hate to bring this up on my GameJolt, and this might be a bit controversial......POPPY'S.DAMN. FRICKIN. PLAYTIME.

Oh my gosh! Why do people still make this crap? It's a frickin toddlers game(idc if it has blood I still think it's a toddlers game for reasons I won't get into) but I literally do not get the appeal of these mods. Like, what is so special about these mods that catch you're attention? Oh wait! I know why! Because you guys want to follow the trend!! I bet after all the chapters are complete you guys will forget that game even existed.

Oh but just you wait, people will start getting nostalgic for Poppy Playtime and say "aw man, I remember when I played Bunzo mod ahhh so nostalgic" or "only og's remember getting chased by Huggy Wuggy" or some stupid crap.

Before you come for me, I actually played the Bunzo mod for myself, and it is exactly what I expected. Like, why does Bunzo sound like Squidward? Who even IS Bunzo anyways? Is he a canon character?? Is he an oc??

Anyways, let's talk about nostalgia bait mods. These mods are pretty self explanatory. It's basically taking something from someone's childhood, and turning it into an fnf mod.

You'll see these type of mods later on when I talk about the Pibby mods. So anyways, for now, we're going to talk about *sigh* The Elements of Insanity mod. Ok first of all, what the hell is up with that title?? I mean, do you even know what elements of Insanity looks like?

And why did they have to put hotdiggitydemon into here? I mean, he clearly wants to forget those videos. Besides, those video aged like a rotten grape because most of it consists needlessly edgy jokes and shock humor that I would see in Family Guy or South Park or Rick and Morty.

And then this mod wants you to think "AaAaAaAh I'm SoOoOoO sCaReD oF a PoNy!1!1!1!!1!1!1!" And don't get me started on the pinkie pie one. Ok first of all, can we stop portraying pinkie pie as some frickin psycho?? Oh what is she gonna do? Drill my head off with her chainsaw? I can take that chainsaw from her and she'd be powerless. All pinkie is, is a happy character, not a frickin psycho.(keep in mind all of this is coming from an mlp fan)

You can tell that these kinds of mods are only made just to cash in on nostalgia and get a few clicks.

Ok, this is the part where I loose my shit....

PIBBY MODS!!!! don't get me started on these bullcrap mods!!!! I know I've ranted on these mods before in the past, but honestly, I don't think I made enough points in that article so I'm just gonna do it all over again. I consider Pibby mods to be the absolute worst of fnf Mods. There is nothing special about these mods, they are all the same exact same thing! And don't hit me with that crap saying "well there are actually good ones!" Bullshit! No Pibby mod is good in my opinion. And don't say "well what about Steven Universe or Twilight Sparkle?" As someone who has played these mods, no, they are not.

First of all, I've played the Steven Universe mod and it is not good(as if Steven Universe was ever good in the first place) literally all it is obnoxious glitching noises and the same old "boyfriend rapping while Pibby stands behind him shocked" sprite that you've seen over and over again. Ok first of all, why isn't Pibby doing anything? She's just standing there like an idiot! I mean, this is an apocalypse!! Where you're supposed to do something!! If you just stand there, you're gonna get caught!

Anyways, on to the subject of the twilight sparkle mod. As someone who has also (kinda) played the mod, the twilight sparkle mod is not as good as everyone makes it out to be.

Seriously guys!? You're gonna get angry at me for having an opinion that isn't the same as everyone else!? That explains a lot about you.

I'll give Dusk till Dawn credit, at least the whole song isn't obnoxious glitching noises but it's still not good. First of all, why would twilight of all characters get corrupted? I can get why the would get sucked in, but why twilight? Isn't she one of the most powerful ponies in all equestria?? And why is pinkie pie, an earth pony, a survivor? Pinkie can barely do anything?

A little off topic, but what is up with fnf fans obsession with pinkie pie? Is she the new fan favorite? What happened to derpy?

Anyways, since I'm getting tired of tying and I have more important things to do than rant about mods of a silly rhythm game, I'm going to end it off here. If you somehow like any of the mods I mentioned, that fine. Just don't get angry at me because I hated on your favorite mod. Overall, stop treating fnf like it's the smash bros of indie games, it's not. I think I said enough here, Creeperkitty, signing off.
