Why Game Jolt?

We have always been about lifting up and supporting independent creators. We started with helping small indie studios make money and have expanded our support to massive creators, games and even brands.

We spoke with hundreds of creators across all social media platforms to solve for the head (and heart) aches they're experiencing on other platforms.

We recruited a mixed group of prominent creators from every platform (TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, YouTube, Patreon and Game Jolt) to help us build the best platform for you and your audience.

Why Become a Creator on Game Jolt

While other platforms incentivize users to keep scrolling, Game Jolt is incentivized to build stronger connections between you and your fans, keeping them engaged with you.

We do this through our discovery algorithm that prioritizes followed content. Simply put–if someone follows you, they'll get your posts in their feed. They'll receive notifications everywhere Game Jolt is available; web, mobile and desktop app.

"I'm really proud to be posting and a part of the @gamejolt community. The sticker system is amazing! The quests are fun, and help other creators! One year and I don't regret a second. Can't wait for another thank you GJ." - @Beesechurger_73

"Game Jolt is an efficient, interactive, organised platform where I can share updates on my projects knowing for sure that they'll reach people who are interested. It's useful, fun, and easy to navigate.

Sharing content on Game Jolt can be more comfortable than using other platforms. Mostly because I have moderation over things like comments, and channel organisation in my Community. On other websites you usually just have to risk anyone saying anything. I find a lot less spam on Game Jolt, at least in my circles.

 At the moment, being rewarded for making posts via Charged Stickers has really motivated me to make consistent, familiar updates to my projects. But disregarding the Creator Program, seeing people excited for my content is great and it has kept me on the website for half a decade!" -

@Kane

"The Game Jolt community as a whole is pretty active and exuberant, something that you don't particularly see much of on other social platforms.

I also like how Game Jolt is organized into smaller specialized communities which makes it easier to find an audience for different kinds of art or fandoms. Unlike other platforms where you kinda just post into the void and hope it reaches someone who is interested in seeing it.

I love being able to make doodles for people in exchange for charged stickers! It's a great way to interact with the community through art and it also allows me to make drawings for people who probably wouldn't be able to commission me otherwise." -

@Erbmaster

"My experience on Game Jolt has been very positive. It’s a social media site that is very different from other ones I’ve been on. I feel like Game Jolt does care about creators. It’s nice to actually feel cared about. My favorite part is the interaction.

Game Jolt is a great place to bring your content and to try taking your content in a new direction. There are so many things to try... We are all bringing our own art and medium to this platform, which is very receptive and welcoming." -

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
