wow I've already abandoned my 3d engine and made a Minecraft clone and abandoned that and then started on a 3rd engine


I have very lose ambitions for this one, just doom (1993) but better honestly

going pretty well so far, I implemented a function to detect if the player will intersect with a plane (continuous collision my beloved) using the normal and some... normalization... anyways it works probably

I never use gamejolt but I figured I could post something here for once

anyways if you care here's what I want to do: basically just remake the original doom, only with a proper y axis and some more modern game mechanics like quickswapping (such as in doom eternal), and also hopefully preserve the feel of it with the movement and atmosphere and stuff idk

probably just gonna abandon this one too loll
