Xen Is an Alien from space who Crash landed onto earth one fateful night fall. It would emerge from the waters below. it lacked a meaning or purpose. trying to find its true meaning. it would spend years watching humanity, watching the violence that came from it. the wars, the murders, it was something the Alien found a Sick Pleasure from. Something it wanted a part in. but without a body or vessel, this couldn't be achieved. Soon however, This Alien would stumble upon Sega's Mascot Sonic the Hedgehog, and while at first it had no interest, it would soon find out that This Simple Hedgehog was the answer to Its problem.

Cut to 1997, During the development of A New Sega title, Sega was in need of a new Sonic Design and Game, and One Woman by the name of Alice Mays offered her own take on Sonic's Design for the project, offering to create a new title that was sure to revolutionize Sonic the Hedgehog. She was given the opportunity to prove herself and began working on a new title called Project: His world, which would be the next hit Gem in the Sonic Series. She formed a Small team of developers to help and production went well. after a couple of weeks, a demo was given to be judged and decided. unfortunately her idea was ultimately rejected, leading to Alice losing her mind. accusing Sega of doing her wrong. She would proceed to leave and take everything she made with her. including Project: His world. She would spend weeks trying to find a new job, with no hope in sight.. The Alien from before would find her game to be intriguing however.. It would manifest itself onto her mind. suggesting to Alice that her idea was phenomenal, and that it would help her get what she craved most. fame. but all it needed in return was to latch onto This new Sonic title. At first, Alice was disturbed by this Entity, which the Alien would understand, reassuring her that It had no Ill intentions. Alice would agree to It's Deal Out of desperation. Soon, This new title would be finished. His world was complete. Unfortunately, Days later, Alice would be found dead in her house, Laying lifeless on the ground, pale and rotting. She had lost 21 grams of weight.

Xen would soon spread its presence onto thousands using this new Sonic title. Stealing their souls and trapping them within' its world to torture them.
