It sucks. It all really sucks. TERF campaigners left the courtroom celebrating the fact they just stripped away rights of trans women. This is so incredibly backwards, partially erasing 2 decades of progress.
But the fight isn’t over. I don’t care what the law says, I am the girl I say I am. We have to be strong.
So, this is a message to our cis siblings: you cannot say you are an ally just because you don’t discriminate against us. That is just tolerance. You have to prove yourself as an ally; protest with us, fight for our rights with us.
And to the queer women who wanted this outcome, you disgust me. We are one community and there is never an LGB without the T. We move forwards as one, or not at all.
The fight is not over. Stay strong. Don’t let a few judges tell you who you are. Be gay, do crime. I love you, my trans siblings <3
