i love the amazing quality of indie art and especially indie video games. I am a child of the 80s and the NES, and it is a nostalgic and awe inspiring thing for me to see because of the realisation, now, of much work and creativity was needed to create art for games like Mario Bros and Zelda. Also having children and hearing them argue over pacifist or genocidal mode when talking about the amazingly fun game Undertale is priceless!
This is my 1-bit homage to Metroid 2 and it details the first encounter with an Alpha Metroid.
I have updated this older piece to use my latest personal 1-bit palette and I think it fits better than the first one (please swipe to see the original).🙂
