Programming:

Born in the mid 70's I grew up with the first home computers/game consoles starting out with a Philips Videopac G7000 Game console. When I saw a C64 for the first time, at the age of 9, I was sold. So from the humble beginning programming in basic, I switched to Assembler the on to PC, still assembler, but soon found out that wasn't a permanent solution. Every time a new processor came out I could, and would, optimize the code to use the new registers and abilities of the processor. So I switched to C, and then to C++, learning QBasic, VB, VC, Fortran, Java along the way, but then in about 2008 I was told I should switch to C#... I wouldn't it was slow.. Wasn't it? So spend 2 days comparing speed of the two on the "normal" things I normally do, and found that the speed was not an issue, and damn I was productive in C#.. :) So haven't written a line of C++ since.

Game Dev

Back in 2011 I stumbled upon Unity, and all my frustrations doing #gamedev vanished. So have enjoyed doing #gamedev ever since. That is, when time allows it. :)

Professional

I'm a full time software developer.
