Solo Game Developer & Freelancer

Software/Game Developer and Mentor
Hi, I'm Juri. I'm a game developer and I love what I do. I've been making games for about 6 years now. I've always had a passion for games, ever since I was a kid. And I knew that one day I wanted to develop them myself. There's something indescribably satisfying about seeing people experience the things you've created. Whether it's a player getting lost in an epic adventure or figuring out how to solve that one difficult puzzle, those "A-ha!" moments are what make all those long hours worth it.

I started development when I was creating mods for popular games like Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2. That led to freelancing and eventually working on my own games. My portfolio includes both 2D and 3D games, as well as some experience with augmented reality and virtual reality.

I have worked as a freelancer, developing both small and large games for various companies. My skills include Unity3D, C#, game design, level design, 3D modeling and more. I am always looking to learn new things and improve my skills.

Interesting read for those looking into localization.

"These 10 languages accounted for over 80% of the overall word count, from a pool of 48 languages."

Keep in mind that the sample size is only 4K studios and limited to GDC attendees (mostly AAA). What works for AAA might not work for you, so use this to understand a % of the industry, not as guidance on what you should be doing.

Some graphical improvements!

Working on 1 month game jam, the theme is #MetroidVania! For now I did only this, thank you @jannik_boysen for the Procedural Skybox tutorial, I learnt a lot!

Adding some beefy new enemies in Power of Ten (https://gamejolt.com/games/power-of-ten/442381). What do you think of these ships?
