Wow this is so cool. the release manager allows to choose the default executable for a release in case if someone installs it through the client.
I was trying to have it feel like games of 2000's. they used launchers for configuring and the contained a manual file, but now I also brought the problems of those times into my fangame too.
This is how this configurations system works. There's a batch file which creates a symbolic link to save area in appdata folder of windows. whenever the game is moved to a new folder this command must be ran. the launcher can run it itself.
