I've been pushing small bux fixes since my initial 0.0.3 release, based on user feedback. Currently on 0.0.6 (released today), once I feel good about core game, I can start working on Story Mode!
I apologize for the long delay. But development is active again. Purchase Gun & Skills from the buy menu. Also note Enemy meter at the bottom of the screen.
