So i wanna change room pressing an object but with a controller not with the mouse event

i know i can do it like

if (mouse_check_button_pressed(mb_left)
{
room_goto(room1)

}

But idk how to make that if i press the exact object it would work

So i wanna make a fade transition between rooms on gms2
