My game dev achievement that I'm most proud of is being able to remake my favorite game.
This video shows that.

Fire Leaf Water only have one demo currently and downloaded 12 times.
I wished there would be more people playing the game and the game gets more attention.
My biggest fear when releasing my game is I forgot to check if the game is working or not or buggy or not.
For me, useful feedbacks are the ones which elaborate the issue clearly.
With clear feedback, I could figure out the source of the issue and solution.

1I share my dev progress in multiple places. Here, on facebook groups, on itch io and discord channels.
The lesson I got the hard way from game dev is I have limited time. I learned that I have to always make sure that my game plan is doable within allocated time.
My advices are:
1. Make small game and finish it.
2. Don't use AI. Code the game and make the assets yourself. Use free assets if you have to.
I had burnouts while working on my first beatmup and I still have them after making game. My solution is to take a break by playing some video games.
I don't have any dev who inspired me to become a game dev. I don't care much who made the game, as long as I love the game, I could use it as inspiration.
