Basically since the apple is in free-fall, it is an inertial frame, wheras Newton (who's being pushed upwards by the Earth's surface) isn't.

I'd probably want a Portal Gun

Not only would Portals be infinitely useful for commuting places, The Zero-Point claws in the front would let me pick up stuff like the Gravity Gun can (can't throw things, but picking up heavy stuff still useful)

I just watched Transformers One

As someone who's not a transformers fan, I highly recommend this film, the action is cool and the visuals are great, plus it's a great origin story

Plus Optimus can't transform, but one of his fingers can. Guess which one?
