The eyes and muscles says this isn't the kindest monster Kris has seen. He is one that Kris will have to face in the near future to become a better version of himself. Unless, he dies...
It's unlikely that such a depressive dummy could suddenly have romantic feelings. But... Why not? Kris still doesn't understand what it is. The girl looks strange to him. And somehow familiar. Although Kris has no idea where he could have seen her.

I tried drawing asriel sprite as fast as possible with no reference but it turned out looking like a crappy Ness-Asriel swap lmao
