There's a Mario 64 interview where the developers claimed they wanted the avatar to feel like a little hamster scurrying around.
Given Insectile's unique scale, I'm trying to capture that same cute and frantic feeling... just with puzzle blocks, too :)

I had to make sure this feature carried over from the Unity version. Get some good Cary Levi reaction images in there

my game is 2d, so i made a shader that looks like we are being lifted. this is because when uycatroz (the animatronic that attacks, other 2 are support for him) jumpscares, he grab the player by the neck. so we got illusion of 3d.
