I've been continuing work on getting the Status Bar (at the bottom of the screen) to "seamlessly" transition between levels of my NES game.
It now works properly when transitioning in all directions.

Both down AND up screen transitions appear to be working in my new NES homebrew game. More testing required but an encouraging first attempt at the implementation. #nesdev

Fresh batch of buttons out of the resin printer for my controller project
First image is showing it before I remove the supports, second shows after they are removed and ready to go
3D printed the bottom of the controller last night. It joins up pretty well to the top.
It's not perfect since resin printing tends to shrink and warp. But it's good enough for my prototype!
Now to make the buttons...
I've been working on making my own retro gaming controller from scratch. It's been taking months so far. Finally got to a point where the initial design is finished!
More info in the article about what I'm actually trying to do with it:

I love making custom controllers. Mostly GameCube and Switch Pro Controller. But started doing N64. Next is my NES dogbone and the one for my kiddo!
I need to make new NOTEBOOK, so let's make a custom notebook for a lucky winner too! Comes with a Wario sticker.
To Enter: Place a charged sticker on this post. I'll pick one random winner next Monday, Jan. 30.

Development on the 16-Bit port of Witch n' Wiz is very close to wrapping up, but I could use a couple "fresh eyes" to test the (hopefully) final build of the game in the next few weeks.
