I try to purchase a game or download an addon on Steam, and it tells me that I need to sign in in order to do that, as if I wasn't signed in already.

I try to "sign in" again, and it just gives me an error message.

I hope this is just issues with traffic.

This was a triumph, i'm making a note here, huge success.

Steam keeps repeatedly trying to update the same damn update.

Why can't Steam just work?
