I hope for 2D Adventure to be a 2D platformer, adventurous, story-line based with some puzzle aspects as well as strategy to get through certain "stages" and a few levels/areas where guns or other weapons that shoot projectiles (bows, slingshots, etc) are required so I guess it aims to be shooter as well.
I hope to add some survival aspects such as surprise mini-bosses, stronger enemies as the levels progress and more 
This is a project I am working on in my free time and, as a solo dev, I hope to make a successful game and (hopefully) release some paid DLC's after a few years of it being on here or other websites.
