What do you think?

I'll test out your game when you are ready

how yo get the game?

INTRO
Arrowhead: 1943 (temporary title) is an FPS set in World War 2 with low poly graphics, online multiplayer, and single player with bots. It is very early in development and I will release versions for open play testing when I feel the game is ready. If you're interested in joining play testing ahead of open early access, leave a comment or send me a message and I will add you to a group. Guns feature historically accurate rates of fire and muzzle velocities as opposed to pure hit scan mechanics.. There is currently no bullet drop.

CONTROLS
W,A,S,D to move
C to crouch
Left Shift to sprint
Press m to change class.
Class loadouts are a work in progress. Essentially, class types have a main gun, a pistol, a grenade, and a knife.
Space to jump.
Tab opens the scoreboard
Escape opens the menu.

OVERVIEW

  • Russia

  • United Kingdom

20 weapons are currently included.

Planned upcoming maps (list subject to change):
Omaha Beach (American)
Carentan (American)
El Alamein (British)
Operation Barbarossa (Russian)

ROADMAP
I need to create a few maps, polish up basic game types and AI controls on those maps, improve the UI, and fix various bugs before opening the game up to early access play testing. It would be nice to get some animations for hands with guns, but I don't view it as necessary for early play testing.

The game currently supports deathmatch and team deathmatch. I want to implement asymmetric team deathmatch, where sides with advantageous positions are given fewer lives and players to mimic real life battles. Objective based game modes with areas to capture are also desired, but a ways off.

I hope to add land vehicles (tanks, trucks, jeeps, etc.), but air vehicles are unlikely due to network syncing limitations with Photon. Earliest versions available for testing will not include vehicles. These are currently on hold as I move to get a playable version of the game with infantry combat.

Made with Unity with plenty taken from the asset store.
