Birb Room

Introducing: Birb Room! A Test Game.

After over a year of hard work, learning how to code, I'm extremely proud to release

Well, what is Birb Room?

Birb Room is essentially, a "tech demo" for its eventual successor which is now in development. It's something that I've been planning for a long time now, and it's finally getting started.

The reason I decided to make a "test game" in the first place, was mainly to get an understanding of Game Dev, and just have something to set up systems for my game. Eventually, it became big enough to where I decided to give this little game its own story that ties into Bill & Carol. In the end, it made a very fun little project.

Story

Play as best friends, Buddy, and Barry. Two budgies who find themselves wrapped into a confrontation with Bill Mcginty (Bill & Carol). They must uncover the truth as to why he has it out for them by traversing through his castle of puzzles, and tricks.

Gameplay

Puzzles

Complete mind bending puzzles to make your way through Bills' Castle. There's plenty of them throughout the game, so be sure to analyze each situation carefully.

Battles

Fight enemies in epic turn-based battles!

HP

Once all of your parties' health is 0, its Game Over! Make sure to save as you progress and different save points spread across the map.

FP / Skills

Each party member has different skills which all cost varying amounts of FP (Feather Points). Utilize these moves to gain the upper hand in Boss Battles!

Items

There are several different items that can be bought at shops, or found around the world. Some will heal you, while some may give you an extra oomph to your attacks while in battle!

Coins

Bird Coins can be found all around the map. Usually hidden, these coins will allow you to buy different items at Adam's Shop!

Endings

There are 2 endings to Birb Room. One is easily obtainable from simply progressing in the game, but the TRUE ending will require a bit of sidetracking.

The true ending also includes lots more content, including new puzzles, and an additional Boss Battle.

How to get the True Ending?

Talk to a mysterious entity within the castle dungeon to start this ending. The rest will be up to you to figure out.
