What do you think?

Let me say I had a blast was a "Purrfect" experience, couldn't help myself, but I finished it! for those interested in a playthrough! the "cats outta the bag" haha XD well anyway I like the idea of this game! I can imagine maybe later more stages and interactions, maybe more patrollers with better ways of catching you! I liked it a lot and hope that it continues! good work devs! :) https://youtu.be/jdy-jbmJqa4

Hey guys!! Just played the demo and I'am impressed!! It is a well polished demo. Love it. I had just a couple of thigs a jump button or climb button. Maybe use the mouse to use the camera and a little more transparency for the walls to see what you are doing:) but all in all very well done! I'am going to be watching as the game develops:) Also i did a little playthrough on my YouTube channel if you would like to see it:)

I would suggest changing the orientation of the controls to match that of the map so two button movement isn't required to move parallel to edges and there should probably be some sort of visualization of the walls and guards that are not directly visible from the given camera angle. I was caught several times by guards I could not see because of the fixed camera and multiple floor design of the level. Visually it looks pretty good but other than the the game is, as you suggested, very basic in gameplay.

Heya~! Played your game, just a couple things I'd recommend. So when the character goes through walls, I don't know where I am going. All I see is a blue silhouette, and not the actual corners of the wall. So I'd be great if you had like a skeleton or a line to where the walls are or end. The camera is general sometimes it is very difficult to sometimes see stuff. A small thing, but I think you have it in a way to make it more challenging anyways, but it is too easy to fall off the edge. Just my opinion on that one thing, but overall cute kitty character and dogs lol. https://youtu.be/IiPvDvl9rlg

OK, let's just get one thing right out there. I'm terrible at being stealthy!

Phew, now that's out of the way let me just say that I really enjoyed playing this. Being able to swish the camera all around and having to keep an eye on all of the environment around you really kept me on my toes and made this a challenging yet colourfully fun adventure!

I dived right in without even realising that you guys are promoting charities too, which is awesome. I hope I've done the game and your cause justice with my playthrough, and I'll be keeping a close eye on your next venture! Keep up the awesome work =)

Happy 2018! This is the year that Gamers for Good is going to start making games! We knew our first game needed to be VERY simple as we learn the tools and landscape of small-scale, indie game development.

At the end of 2017, we found out that Sean Coleman, a game dev at Riot, made his own little indie game called Lighthouse on itch.io. We casually asked if he was interested in making a simple game on the side with us. We had a quick and exciting lunch meeting where we talked about our interests, strengths, and weaknesses. After meeting with Liz (the Producer/organizer/actual adult) we agreed to make a game together. The next day Peet designed a very basic game idea based on our interests and skill sets, did a couple of scribbles and a simple test level for a pitch. Cat Burglar: A Tail of Purrsuit, a simple stealth game where you play a cat who is stealing gems from dogs. We got thumbs up from everyone. Now let's make a game!
