Hi, everyone, Iโm one of the programmers that worked on this game. I just wanted to let you know that this game can be played over the internet. While the game was made for being played in a LAN, it still performs well in low ping conditions. So if you want to play with a friend over the internet, just fellow the instructions below.
For the Host of the Game
1) You will have to make sure that someone can reach your computer port 5020. In general, all you have to do is to forward the port 5020 on your modem or router.
2) Find your public IP address and send it to your friend. Just ask Google whatโs my IP.
For the Player That Will Join the Game
1) In the main menu (the one where you have the option to create or to join a game), just press the i key on your keyboard. This will open a secret menu where you can write the IP of your friend. If there is no problem, you should be in your friend's game in less than 3 seconds.
Also, if I have the time and there are some people asking for that feature, I might use UPNP to allow the host to skip the 1 step.
I hope you can enjoy the game like we did enjoy making it ๐.

Light Speed Legacy is a PVP race between two players who compete for three generations.
Each player gets to pick between 4 items that they drop in their ennemy's path and will eventually also clash with it.
Just download it, unzip it and play with your friends on two computers.
