why is their a random language that i dont know and how do i change it
feel curious why new demo won't mix the old demo like parking is zone 1 then zone 2 is new demo zone 1 (idk that place)
its very well done i love this fan game i love the whole idea that the monsters are blind and ya have to be stealthy, my only little issue with the game is in the puppet king mini fight on the train, i think its just a little to much focusing on killing the manukens and hitting the puppet kings attack back at him too.
They know where we are all the time :(
Can't recommend, don't play.
While the game has potential, it feels like there was zero play testing. It says ''Demo'' so I'm unsure if it's finished, but that doesn't excuse just how unfun it is to play.
For context: I only finished the first zone because it wasn't enjoyable at all. I will not finish this one and instead play games that I actually enjoy.
The main menu feels bad to navigate. The background moves a long to your mouse which feels bad, however the most important issue is that it barely offers any settings.
Want to adjust your Resolution properly? NO.
Want to change the bad key binds? NO.
Want to know what shitty AA they're using and maybe change it? NO.
Want to remove the fps cap? NO.
and others...
Also, whenever you click buttons that return you to the main menu etc. the game won't have an additional popup to prevent miss clicks... like every other game... fun.
The gameplay is rather... ehhh. It has some cool ideas but I didn't find it very enjoyable. A big issue is the fact that the enemies and car traps are extremely quiet which makes navigating the parking lot very annoying. Dark Deception always worked with audio cues, it's a first person game! Naturally you have less info on your surroundings and audible feedback is important. 90% of my deaths where due to not being able to hear the cars or the enemies. They're not that fast so I thought that I had made some good distance... wrong! Was already in a bad mood to begin with and was hoping that this could be a little fun but I guess I should learn my lesson and just not expect much anymore. Oh yeah, breaking the boards doesn't make any sound either.
The hit boxes for the vent traps are too big and the random barriers (the interactible ones) where rather annoying. Yeah, you can walk around them but in the heat of the chase it's important that the movement is fluid. Visually they're not that different so you run into them a lot.
CC also has a bug that prevents you from using your powers. It might take up to 5+ button presses to actually activate your power.
The game provides some interesting visuals but it looked rather ugly on my screen due to the poor anti aliasing. Also had various stutters despite playing on a high end build.
There is a lack of polish... a BIG lack of polish.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the chase. It was shit. Very abrupt with no sense of direction.
I could go on and on but I don't feel like making this comment any longer. The main game already has a mountain of issues and seeing fan games not improve much is sad. Don't play Chaotic Customer. If you want a fun fan game just try Animatronic Atrocity. It's not a master piece but I enjoyed it at least. I doubt any of this will be fixed and that I'm just wasting my time writing this but whatever.
Have a nice day.
