The dastardly King Vernomous has set his eyes on the tranquil Wisherstar Island, home of the magical Starms.
Wanting to use the Starms powers to conquer the world over, King Vernomous sends the combined might of his Gombo Army and their Mechs to scavenge the island and to capture any Starms they can find.
Fearing the result of such event, the queen of the Starms has enlisted the help of a local named Calex(pronounced Kay-lex). Combining her power with Calex's abilities, together the two will try to stop King Vernomous's forces, rescue the captured Starms and bring peace back to the Wisherstar Island.
Daring Calex is a 2D platformer heavily inspired by similar games from the 16 bit era Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. The game will take you across the many and varied locations of the Wisherstar Island.
