Description:

Districted Space - multiplayer turn-based economic strategy for real champions!

System requirements: none. You can play from almost any device. Cross-platform will also be available soon.

Districted Space is not just simple turn-based strategy: every turn it is up to you to attack, defend and anticipate the actions of rivals.

Has the enemy defended his lands? Will he attack me on the next move? What is the best way to dispose of your squads? We will know the answer to these and other questions only after the end of timer...

And if you are out of the game, this is not the end: break into the battle with new strength in a few moves and show your will to win! But remember, landings are protected first.

And now is the time to recruit a team of old or new friends and show who is the best strategist and real champion!

Install game instructions:

1. First you need to register on the site: https://districted.space/registration

(registration consists of 3 fields - your game nickname and entering your password twice).

2. Next, you can download one of the versions: the version on the site (launcher with updates and installer) or one of the three versions published on gamejolt:

1. Basic version: the same as on the site (with installer, updates).

2. Portable: the same game, but without the installer (in the archive) and with auto-updates.

3. Portable v2: the same game, without installer (archived) and without auto-updates.

3. Press the "connect" button and enter the nickname and password (which was written to register on the site).

4. You have entered the game. Now you can view the list of already created rooms, create your own room, customize it to your taste by clicking on the "play" and "plus" buttons.

You can also customize sounds and music in the settings.

In the "shop" section, you can see the main pictures, additional pictures and borders available for purchase.

What should I do? How to play?

Firstly, let's define the room settings in the room list.

From left to right we can see:

• Name of the room;

• Number of players in this room;

• Size of map (xs - extra small, s - small, m - middle, l - large);

• Quantity of moves;

• Starting amount of money;

• Quantity of seconds for 1 move, turn;

• Number of bots in this room;

Secondly, while creating the room you can see this:

1. Enter the room name. It has to be up to 30 characters;

2. Players. It is a number of players, from which the game will start (for example we make there 3 players; if there are 3 players - game starts, but there can play more than 3 people);

3. Time to move. Quantity of seconds for 1 move, turn;

4. Map size (xs - extra small, s - small, m - middle, l - large);

5. Started money. It is starting amount of money;

6. Game limit. It is quantity of moves;

7. Bot count. It is a number of bots in the room;

Thirdly, I made/found the room, what is about customization?

Now you should choose your land. It is consists of the main picture, border and additional picture. Then you can choose color for some elements (exept additional pictures and some borders);

Then, just click "Confirm" and you are in game! But remember: the last player in room has only 60 seconds to create his land, before the game starts.

Fourth, what should I do in game? What is the main mission?

Your mission to win: you should take as many golden stars as you can. You getting stars for new captured land in the end of the move only if you will protect it (or if no one would attack your land in this move). The more stars you collect, the more money you will get to buy pictures/borders for your land.

There 3 types of lands:

• Lands that give you a large profit (100 coins, 125 coins, 150 coins), but only a 1 star per move;

• Lands that give you not such big profit (75 coins, 50 coins, 25 coins) and 2 stars per move;

• Lands that give you no profit (0 coins), but a maximum of stars (3);

Also you can notice that some lands have a special symbol - green down arrow. That means, that this land is disembarkation (landing place).

Any player or bot can send its squad on this lands any time they want. So, if you want to keep your lands safely, you should protect landings firstly.

How to attack landings? You should buy your squad, by clicking this button:

Starting power is 100, but you can improve it (if you want, in a panel with buying, click at the white square near the necessary squad and you will see arrows) and send it to the territory (in the pictures you can see buttons: buy (plus), improve (arrows) and the prices of buying and improving):

Now you should choose the land you want to attack and click this button (the same you can do, if you want to protect your own lands, but instead of swords there would be shield):

In the end of the move, we can see who won this land. Usually the one with the higher squad strength wins. In cases where the squad strength is equal, both squads die, and the owner remains the same (or empty).

Also you can take the squad off the land. You should select your land with squad and click on the shield in lower centre. Then click on return arrow at left panel. Land will be yours untill some enemy decides to attack it:

If you are out of the game - do not be sad. You will get compensation in the amount of starting money after every end of the move. Accumulate money, break into the game when no one is waiting!

In the end of game, you will see the nicknames of players and their stars. Also you would see the name of winner. Than you will get your money - 1/3 of your quantity of stars.

But if you are winner - you will get the same money, but x2.

And now let's speak about interface.

In the top left corner you can see your personal information:

• nickname;

• amount of money that can be spend;

• the money you will get at the end of move, the total land income at the moment;

• amount of stars you already got;

In the top centre you can see timer and move number. Also you can get information about players, just clicking on timer (or using key Tab);

In the top right corner you can see information about owner of selected land;

In the lower left corner you can see squads button, where you can buy or improve squads;

A little higher you can see the chat button, that can also be called by clicking key Enter;

In the lower centre you can see shield or swords, depending on the owner of the land. If you is owner - you can't attack (swords), but you can protect your land (shield);

In the lower right corner you can see the button that allows you to leave game, change settings or continue playing if you missclicked;

And a little higher you can see buttons with a "plus" and "minus". These buttons adjust the camera zoom, that you can also make using the mouse wheel;

If you want to check some lands at the edge of the map you can hold RMB (right mouse button) or a mouse wheel;

Some problems that may arise:

1) When installing the game in drive C, most often you need to run the game as an administrator. Otherwise, the game gives an error and does not start (it is best to install the game on another disk).

2) The game requires a stable internet connection. In the absence of such, there may be unforeseen errors.

3) If there is an error during authorization, then you entered the nickname / password incorrectly (or did not know at all that registration takes place on the site: https://districted.space/registration ).

4) If you see an error while connection to the server, then you need to wait. Usually, within an hour, everything is getting better.

5) If the game starts to freeze for no reason, the reason is most likely the presence of a large number of rooms. Therefore, please do not create a lot of large rooms with many bots and people.
