Enigma is an RPG game inspired by many classics of the genre, as well as some works inspired by said classics. These include but are not limited to: Earthbound, Undertale, Deltarune, and more that I'm probably forgetting!
Enigma formerly had a multi-person dev team, but after various events and years of drifting apart I, the original creator, am all that remains of the team. I'll try my best to keep up with this, but no promises! When the game is ready, if it ever is, the plan is for it to be a 'pay if you want' deal. I'm open to receiving assistance from anyone interested, but I can't offer pay as this is just a free-time passion project sooooo.. y'know.
An Eldritch abomination beyond comprehension known as the [Enigma] descends upon Earth, swiftly toppling human society and spreading It's maddening corruptive influence without any signs of stopping. All hope is seemingly lost, the world is overrun with beasts from beyond the cosmos and distorted humans called the [Taken]... Among all the chaos and despair, one lone boy [Chosen] by an unseen force, along with his ragtag party, must trek through the post-apocalypse, battling their way through the horrors so that they may reclaim their world.
Alright fellas, I don't wanna be that guy but Enigma is on a long temporary hold. Now don't worry, it'll happen, I swear, however, I want Enigma to be made when I actually know what I'm doing. I'll be starting another project soon enough to hone my craft.
So I know barely anyone's gonna see this, but, I'd like all of your opinions. You see I can't exactly decide which sprite is better, so I decided to make a poll. Other advice/criticisms are welcome in the comments. (I'm more leaning towards Sprite 1 tbh)
Okay so we're not using RPG Maker anymore, we'll be using Gamemaker Studio, not sure if I'm gonna use the first one or shell out some cash and use the second one, we'll figure that out as we go.

I'd just like to tell you all that we'll most likely have an EXTREMELY early alpha demo build out by at most the end of the year, I'll see you in later posts! Y'know, when you all exist.
