What do you think?

played the game for a bit and i have to say that it's pretty good!) the story is simple, but i'm sure it gets more and more thrilling the more you get into it, the dialogues are good and i've found no grammar issues with them, the battle system is tough but fair (damn those shrooms! who knew that these fungi were so brutal?!) and the plugins make the battles all the more dynamic and interesting to look at, with animated fighters and such) overall, a pretty solid experience and a good first impression!

still though, there are some problems with the game that should be pretty easy to fix - firstly, some bugs: the green chest in the house turns red after you interact with it, and when you interact with the lowest to the right red chest in the cave it opens EVERY SINGLE ONE of the unopened chests, for some reason! you only get items from the lower one, though, so, yeah... now for some design problems - the amount of items you get from chests is insane and nullifies the game's difficulty if you use them in-battle (which i didn't, this way the battles were more fun) - i'd recommend lowering the amount of items you get from the chests by half or even reduce them to a 1\3 of their current gain to make the game more challenging, but not unfairly so. next, while the overworld looks great and the house's interior looks nice the cave looks considerably bland and gets boring quite easily - while the chests DO make exploring it worthwhile - a good decision on your part to put them in certain parts of the cavern, Shode, but decorating the layout with some rocks, stalagmites, rubble, etc, should do wonders to make the cave more interesting to explore - plus, it will make it easier for players to navigate!) and, finally, random encounters - they're pretty annoying. i'd recommend you switch from them to on-map enemies, like with that one slime in the cave - this way players will be able to avoid battles when they don't want them or fight whenever they want to, giving them more control over the whole process)

all in all, while the beforementioned problems are pretty glaring, they don't make the overall experience bad and ironing them out will make the game all the better!) and that's about it - Shode, i wish you best of luck along with nerves of steel while developing the game - take care!

This is my first game. It is not outstanding of course but it is my first game. I hope you enjoy. I am getting better at using this program. This game is basically the beginning of a complex and interesting story. #rpg #adventure #action #strategy #other
