"In 1967, a man named William Afton and his friend Henry Emily created Fredbear's Family Diner with their savings, which became a profitable pizzeria, selling pizzas and offering attractions. However, in 1980, William Afton and Henry Emily abandoned the pizzeria to build a new, even more famous one: Freddy's Fazbear Pizza. The old pizzeria had maintenance and technical assistance problems, but the main one was an animatronic that couldn't be repaired due to faulty spring locks. Therefore, the pizzeria had to close in 1980 for renovations and the acquisition of new machines, attractions, and animatronics. The old pizzeria lacked the resources to repair the toys and machines, as they were of low quality.
