Had a couple games tonight. I really enjoy the Tower Defense genre so I was coming in to this with a positive disposition. Some of the mechanics were a little less intuitive (such as standing on pressure pads to build a tower and collecting more gold from the bank). Other than that I really liked the balance of managing your towers while also being personally involved enough in the action to stay alive.
I'd like to see more things developed in the game, like a single player mode, ability to upgrade towers, maybe some kind of macro mechanics, like a passive gold generation system I can pay to unlock. Overall I enjoyed myself, and I want to see more of the game fleshed / polished.
i enjoyed myself, i thought having unique characters was pretty cool playing the slasher guy with his roll was fun,
would be nice if there were short breaks like if they came in waves.
plus l liked the idea of needing to go the the chair to collect your gold, it meant the slasher guy had to abandon the defence to collect which i felt was a nice little balance to the fact he dealt more damage.
Fight for The Night is a TPS Tower Defense 1v1 game created by Lucky Duck Studios.
You will play as one of the epitomai of horror from legendary B movies --- such as the fearsome Alien 51 or horrifying Swamp Slasher.
You will protect your throne from the enemy forces using powerful towers and abilities, and overcome your opponent with your army of vile minions. By overcoming your enemy, you will become the scariest monster of the Night.
