Powerphrasing

Created for Global Game Jam 2018 (transmission).

It's election season, and you are trying to swing the local populace in favour of your preferred candidate. As a fly on the wall, you can see how information is transmitted between people as they go about their lives, and as an agent of the campaign you can disseminate misinformation using various media (e.g. TV, billboards) to swing the result towards your preferred outcome.

Controls:

• Pan camera with arrow keys, or WASD keys

• Zoom in/out with Z/X, respectively

• Hold H for a misinformation heatmap

• Mouse click to select (mis)information sources and dialogue choices ...
  or you can just watch what happens if you don't get involved

Favour/influence is visually represented by colour of people: bold colours are more influential, and more strongly in favour of one of the candidates; green indicates preference for the target candidate, and blue for an alternative.

Every playthrough has randomly-generated initial conditions.
