what happens with the Overgrowth map?
hey! do you need any help with level design? i have lots of maps and ideas. But i stuck on creating my own multiplayer fps shooter to test them. So, it will be useful for both of us, i quess.
Gunmetal is a free-to-play multiplayer FPS aimed at recreating the high intensity and fun environment of tournament/skirmish type shooters. It is currently in an extremely early testing stage that showcases mechanics of the weapons and movement around a close quarters map. This stage is also to allow followers to report bugs and suggestions. Keep in mind that this is being solo-developed so long term changes can take time to implement. IMPORTANT - The download above is for the launcher which will prompt you for an update. Then the main game will download. This is in place so that dynamically updating the game is possible. Thank you!
FAQ’S
My launcher won’t respond. If the launcher is not responding after install, you need to run it as admin as you probably installed it into program files x86.
My installer won’t work. Probably windows defender preventing it from opening.
My graphics changes won’t apply in game. I temporarily removed some graphics options this update that prevent them from saving but this will be fixed in the next update.
Update 1.2 is out! 2 new maps and some bug fixes...just FYI it will take about 35 minutes to download, the server is slow, also make sure to Run as Administrator if you previously installed into Program Files x86 or any other admin location
Four new weapons have been added along with some quality of life updates that make the game run a bit better and look nicer. Thanks for playing and don't forget to post about bugs you notice or changes you want.
Update 1.1 is out! Go ahead and uninstall the old launcher and game due to some back end updates. In the future, you won't have to do this since the launcher will now update the game for you when a new version is released.
If texture quality is changed from high to medium or low, the sniper rifle scope crosshairs disappear slightly. This will be fixed in the next update.
