When you open up the options in the main menu, then close them, it puts you in combat with a witch as if you are in game, but gives no combat options. Also, ESC as a menu button isn't good because it also closes out full-screen.
So F9 brings up not the menu, but some type of bio page. So you can't level up.
This is a student made game as part of the course I'm taking and this is my first attempt at making a game. I appreciate any feedback given. I do plan on continuing to work on this game in the future as time permits

With a session happening tonight and your whole party relying on you, it is your job to get it back in time for tonight's session. Battle your way through the school's awkward encounters, defeating orcish jocks and popular witches alike and make your way through the different wings of the school in an attempt to retrieve your DM guide.
