I saw another indie (yours) very cool, i'm gonna hyped to check this txt adv. 
Interesting!
This problem started when our protagonist "Eric" woke up early, searching to do a new investigation about the Madie's abandoned mansion (known for being a millionaire family a long time ago, but why it happened and why Eric wants so hard that investigation?).
So this whole journey became very unsafe and problematic because Eric ignores some advices from someone important, all of that will be safe for him or would be a dangerous place?
