People who were left alive made a shelter and called it "the sanctuary" basically a bunker. But Not all the animatronics were infected, Only a few were functional So the sanctuary set up squads with animatronics and a human commander..
You play as a lady called Freya. A commander, Most call you "Doctor" or "Commander"...
Freya also lost her memories about the whole ordeal
