@AustinTheKat Might want to post some screenshots to give people an idea of your game's setting and dialogue among other things. I for one dislike going in completely blind in that regard and I'm sure I can't be the only one.

Also please don't be like many other "meta mocking" games in which the game acknowledges how stupid certain tropes and clichés are, yet proceeds to use them anyway assuming it's totally okay because it briefly showed how self-aware it is.

How old are you now? Depending on that answer I can adjust my cringe expectations accordingly. ;D

Just Another RPG Maker Horror Game is my first game. (Well I made one when I was 13, but it was cringe and I don't talk about it.) It is in VERY early development but I thought I'd give a small demo just to see of people would have any interest in the concept I'm going for. My general idea (I'm kinda making this game up as I go along.) is to create a game that is somewhat of a parody of tropes commonly found in the RPG Maker Horror game genre. Sort of going for the type of humor Undertale had, making fun of common mechanics but at the same time, not overdoing the comedy so that the whole game is a joke and nobody can take it seriously. Keep in mind, I'm an amateur.

By the way, I want to add a ton of secrets in the game, so keep a look out for those.

(Maybe something happens when you check the bushes?)
